  1. I suffered from the age of approximately 30 until I was about 55. I was referred to ENT specialists who performed surgery, allergy specialists, seen by dental experts, told I was suffering from cluster head aches and spent times in hospital from the extreme pain put on the strongest pain killers and nerve blockers. Numerous days off work and I told it was due to stress and that I was pretending, then lastly I was sent to a psychiatrist. However I decided instead of taking the medication he wanted me to take
that I would see a neurological surgeon who had treated my daughter. One look at my head scans the first visit and he diagnosed my Trigeminal Neuralgia less than a week later I had surgery and have not had another pain since, that was 15 years ago approximately

    1. I am so glad you were eventually correctly diagnosed. This happens too often we need to raise awareness of the symptoms and educate our medical professionals.
