What if you have already had two operations and it has come back again? First op in 1992, second in 2010. I react to the pharmacy medications also so can’t take medications

  • Will be very interested to listen in on this and hear thoughts on how to assess treatments and surgery options for the younger TN sufferers.
Statistics offered by surgeons and specialists are, in my opinion, skewed to favour each of their respective professions.
One key statistic that varies with both specialists and each sufferers personal opinion is “success rate”. Applied over what time frame, is success assumed/ declared? Being pain free for 1 day/ week/ month/ year/ decade (post treatment)?

This ultimately is what I’m trying to assess for my teenage daughter and help guide her on her choices.
